No solid food should be given in this time period

1 - 3 Months

This is second stage of there growing As they grew ,German shepherd need more nutrients for their stong bones and maintaining the energy level.we should avoid those food  which are not easly digestible.

Feed them wet food like porridge or chicken stock for protein.

Cerelac  with warm water 3 to 4 times for proper Nutrition

Water 3 to 4 times per day

No cow milk and yogurt. 

Introduce dry puppy food – needs 4 to 5 feeding per day. Never indulge in overeating, as upset their tummy.

3 - 4 Months

German Shepherd can having several health issue and a aggresive type of dog breed so we should spent more time with him and every family member  should also engaed with him.In this stage we can start food rich in protein and fibre.

Food which are rich in omega 3 and other nutrients.

For shiney hair andstrong bones,boiled meat can be given.

Water 3 to 4 times per day

4 - 6 Months

German shepherd are known for his activeness ,so healthy food is a must need for their shiny hair and overall buildup.After 4 months we can serve boiled bones and some chicken also.1 hour of exercise must include in this time frame.

Boiled rice with Egg(2-3 times in week).

No Raw meat,pork or beef.

Reduce feeding time to 3 times a day and increase the proportion of food. Feed them fresh food, meat, fish, etc. Do not give them raw meat. Do take out the bones, as it might harm the pup.

6 - 12 Months

Along with health food diet plan we should also make a proper training and exercise schedule and vaccination also.

Vegetable,fruits and home cooked food,good for his energy level.

Calcium tablets and all other foods.

No spicy food and chillies 

No milk and milk related product.

Reduce feeding time to 2 times a day and increase the proportion furthermore. Let them have some shatterproof bones, like in strengthening their teeth. And do not forget to give them the required protein.

German shepherd dogs are strong, athletic, and active dogs. They love physical exercise and stay active most of the time.

Non Veg Foods

Meat – 50% – 70% content  should be low-fat.

Baked or boiled meat is the ideal food.

Raw meaty bones.

Cooked Fish, pink salmon, trout, sardines,etc.

Organs such as Liver should be included in the diet in a small quantity.

Eggs. Yogurt. Keffir. Cottage and Ricotta Cheese

1kg rice

300gram beef

250gram carrots
